Who goes to Potter's House Aylesbury?
Our church is made up of all sorts of people of different ages, from different nationalities and backgrounds. Everyone is welcome. We hope you feel at home whilst here.
How long does a service last

Sunday Services tend to last around 1h 30, with mid-week services and morning prayer sessions normally lasting 1 hour. 

What to expect?

Sunday and Midweek
We start with some live music, followed by prayer and announcements. Afterwards we take up an offering followed by an impactful sermon. Prayer is then followed by refreshments where we encourage people to get to know one another.

Morning Prayer
Quite simply, we arrive and we pray together in a relaxed environment. For those less familiar with prayer, you would basically see many people talking to God. Some people feel comfortable praying out loud, others don’t. Afterwards, some people will head to work, drop the kids off at school, others have more time to spend with each other. 

What do I wear?

Clothes! Just wear whatever you feel comfortable with. People dress differently, some feel more comfortable with a shirt and tie, others in tracksuits. 

I'm nervous about going

That’s completely understandable. It can be a big deal going to a new place, especially if you don’t know anyone. We have a few thoughts on how we can hopefully ease some nerves;

  • We understand that going somewhere new can bring a mix of excitement and anxiety, we will try our best to make you feel at home.

  • If you are anxious about COVID, or have health related concerns, feel free to wear a mask. We ask that people not judge other peoples comfort levels.
What type of church are you?

The Potter’s House Church is a lively, growing, multi-cultural congregation in the heart of Aylesbury. 

We are a Bible based, Spirit filled church with a passion for Jesus, a love for people & a call to reach those who do not yet know God. 

We would love to see you at one of our services which are full of life and inspiration and where the word of GOD is preached passionately with messages that are relevant to everyday life.  

We would love to play a part in helping you find truth, develop a stronger relationship with God & discover the purpose He has for your life!

Do you have anything for Children?
Yes! We have a very lively and active Children’s Church where young children (Primary School Age) will learn about God in a way that is relevant for them. We also have a separate room for those with little ones who may get unsettled where the service is streamed so you don’t miss out.
